Javier’s Corvette

Lately I’ve been trying to get more diversity with different types of vehicles (ie. Corvettes, G8’s, LS-swaps) so I can get more experience with a wide range of PCMs offered by GM.  Just the other day Javier contacted me about tuning his 2005 Corvette C6 that he had swapped a LS3 into.  I thought it’d look great on my resume of cars I’ve done so I hooked up with him on Friday to get the C6 tuned.  At first we had some issues trying to get it to start up only to figure out about a hour later that the MAP sensor was wired incorrectly from the swap.  No big deal, just fixed the wires and bam it fired right up.  I think the sensor actually isn’t putting out the correct signal as of right now, but I got it tuned up until we can fix the sensor issue.  I plan on getting some more pictures of the car once it’s all cleaned up and the Z06 body/wheel conversion is done.  It’s one fast car for sure!  Here’s a idle/rev video I have on YouTube right now:

Mods to the Corvette are: LS3 swap, 242/244 .603/.607 112 LSA Custom Cam, 1 7/8″ American Racing Headers, and Magnaflow cat-back system. Today I might get to go do some diagnostic work on the MAP sensor output so we can get the idle transition dipping to go away. Otherwise, this thing is a monster. More pics/mods soon to come!
