Standalone LSx Engine Harnesses – Coming Soon!

Just recently I’ve started to get more into doing electrical/diag work on the LSx harnesses mostly because I’ve run into issues on client’s vehicles when I started to tune them.  Sometimes it’s something simple like a plug is disconnected or not plugged into the right spot, and sometimes it’s a complete wiring disaster where the DBW portion isn’t correlated with the TAC/APPS.  So, that being said I just figured that if I can rework these harnesses to make them an affordable standalone solution why not just do that?  The first harness I’ll be working with is a harness that I picked up off of Zach about a year ago that’s a Truck HD harness so it’s actually rigged up for a 4l80E transmission.  Another harness that I’ll be modifying soon is a ’06 Truck harness rigged for a 4L60E.  This harness will likely fit most hot-rod applications as pretty much everyone I’ve seen do these swaps uses a truck motor with a 60E trans so far.  Anyways, here’s a list of what I’ll be doing with these harnesses:

Inspect all terminals and replace if needed
Remove extra pins/wires that aren’t needed for standalone harness
Labeling of each plug
Add required fuse center and relays for standalone operation
Pinout of TCC, OBDII, A/C, and Cruise Control wires for hookup to your application
All harnesses that are DBW are tested with an APPS and TAC module to ensure functionality before shipping.  Most of these harnesses can utilize older style TAC modules, but we will provide the correct TAC/APPS information that are required to work with this harness.
Here’s a picture of what the harnesses will look like when finished

When are you going to start building these? What do you think the turnaround will be and what are you planning to charge? Also, do you reprogram the computers or who do you recommend in the area for that.
    Thanks!
